I.U.K.O. Camp 2008

The school’s instructors originally trained at the Hatboro Area YMCA Karate School located at the Hatboro YMCA in Hatboro under the tutelage of chief instructor Mr. Andrew P. Jones, 7th degree black belt.  The school was affiliated with the international organization known as the United States Karate Association (USKA) founded by Mr. Robert A. Trias.   In November of 2002, Mr. Jones retired as the chief instructor of the school, and the Hatboro Area YMCA Karate School was disbanded.

In January of 2004, several black belts from the Hatboro Karate School began training at its current Warrington location.  In March of 2004, we officially started the School of Traditional Karate.

In 2005 we became a member school of the USA-Shotokan Karate Federation (USA-SKF) through which we continued our training.  In 2008 the USA-SKF changed its name to the International Union of Karatedo Organizations (IUKO) to reflect their worldwide membership and reaffirm the commitment to providing a truly international organization that is free from international politics and problems.
